T-Virus Outbreak in Ortigas

----------

Most people have already fled to their hometowns for the long weekend. This left Ortigas and its neighboring areas seem like ghost towns... er, not really ghost towns but seems more like Raccoon City from the game series and movie series RESIDENT EVIL. There were very few people in the streets today and I just imagined them as "survivors" or as "T-Virus infected zombies" while I imagined that I was the first person "shooter" of the game wielding an M-134 Gatling gun, an M-202 rocket launcher, and a Magnum revolver.

Here are some photos of "Raccoon City" today.

(Left) Pearl Drive looking towards Philippine Stock Exchange Center - Tektite

(Right) San Miguel Avenue at 12:02 noontime - This intersection usually causes gridlock but it was exactly the opposite today.

(Left) St. Francis Street looking towards St. Francis Square - This area is usually jampacked with both private cars and public utility vehicles on ordinary days. T-Virus got them all. Hahaha...

(Left) SM Megamall Public Utility Terminal - The mall is closed today until Friday, I think... This place is very noisy on regular days but it sounded like a cemetery here today.

(Left) The foot bridge at the intersection of Julia Vargas Avenue and St. Francis Street - I took this photo around 12:15 noontime but it does not look like the usual rush hour here.

(Right) Annapolis Street (Greenhills, San Juan City) looking towards EDSA - This street is one of the MOST congested streets in Ortigas-Greenhills area but look at it... the T-Virus has also reached this far.

(Right) The EDSA that most people dream of - EDSA northbound lane looking back to Shangrila Plaza. Taken at around 5:00 pm today.

(Left) Shaw Boulevard near One San Miguel Building - This area is usually full of public utility vehicle (PUV) barkers because of the volume of PUVs passing here. However, the T-Virus got them too.
